We have done many jobs where people wanted a steel replacement look with their French doors.
As you can see from the photos there are several different styles possible, which usually involve horizontal astragal bars, sometimes with vertical bars added to form a matrix.

When we have fairly standard widths and heights, that is up to 1800mm width and up to 2200mm height, we are able to use our slimline Royale French doors.
If you wish, we can install a kickplate panel at the bottom to any suitable height.
For wider and taller doors, we are still able to offer full width and full height doors by using our bifold profiles as French doors, with or without side panels.
You can even have a hole for your cat flap!
