This client was doing a complete renovation of their property, part of which was to replace their old style steel windows in wooden subframe with a traditional looking but modern product.
We suggested removing the timber frames and using our Beaufort putty line aluminium windows direct to brick.
At the back we changed the existing french door bay to a bifold door with flag windows including a special layout for the astragal bars in the corners of the bifold glass, giving it a traditional feel but with a modern twist.

We cut out many of the fanlights at the back, where we could and went for an equal sight line effect.
