We are experts at designing the correct door style for your property and can help you choose how many panels to have and how they should open.
Whilst many companies offer aluminium bifold doors, not many will offer the range of aluminium bifold doors that we offer.
Once we have helped you design and choose your bifold doors it is vital that they are installed by experts. That is where our team of professional friendly fitters come in. Bifold doors are tricky to fit and adjust unless you really know what you’re doing.
That is why many builders doing an extension will call on our expertise to supply and fit bifold doors for their clients.
There’s nothing like seeing the product “in the flesh”, so we can arrange an appointment for you to visit our manufacturer’s showroom to help you decide which bifold door is right for you. You can even have internal blinds between your doors.
As our bifold doors are made from powder coated aluminium, you can choose from any RAL colour for your bifolds.
I just wanted to thank you for the good work your team carried out at our flat last week. The windows are looking great and have made a massive difference to the house. We can finally sleep in silence! We were also very impressed by the professionalism of your men, they really did take a lot of care in their work and were very polite and tidy.

After living in my flat for 18 months with the old windows, the new ones provided by You Choose made a huge difference in the quality of life. The condensation is now almost non-existent, the thermal protection in the flat is much better and you don’t feel a draft close to the windows. I am also grateful to Tim and Matt who took care of all small details/requests I had throughout the process!

A massive thank you to your colleagues who came to fit the windows at our flat. They are looking fantastic (the windows that is). The guys were brilliant. Punctual, efficient, helpful, full of tips and suggestions, easy to have around the place, cleaned up and said nice things about the tea I made. All in all, couldn’t have been better.
PAUL B, LONDONChoosing new aluminium bifold doors can be a tricky task so we have put together some popular FAQ, which you may find helpful
Our bifold doors and sliding patio doors both have unique benefits. Bifold can open up the whole space, but sliding patio doors have more glass and less frame.
Yes, you can. The trick is for our fitters to meet your builder on-site before the extension is built so we can discuss floor levels with him and thus get the threshold level just right.
For this application, we would recommend our Continental Plus bifold door, which is built to withstand the rigours of British weather.
It depends on whether you are in a conservation area or not, you will need to check this with your local authority, but usually, this will not be necessary. However, if you are building an extension, then you will almost certainly require planning permission.
You can have a range of glass including standard toughened, laminated for extra security and acoustic control, Pilkington Activ or Sunguard Super Neutral. We can also fit blinds in between the sealed units both manual and electronic. They will be argon gas-filled, planitherm coated and have a warm edge spacer.
While PVC-u bifold doors are definitely cheaper, aluminium bifold doors have much slimmer sightlines, so more visible glass and are stronger, so they can be made with larger width and height panels.
We recommend going out or being away while we are installing your new bifolds so that we can keep disruption to a minimum. We will make good any damage to plasterwork up to decorating standard.
We have high security multi-point locking, with six locking points, superior locking cylinders, key locking intermediate handles, heavy-duty shoot bolts and high security internally glazed sealed units.
If it is in an extension, then you have to have them, in order to comply with building regulations. If you are replacing like for like then they are not obligatory, but we would recommend them anyway to reduce condensation and to give some airflow in the property if you are away.
As our aluminium bifolds are powder coated you can have them in any RAL colour. You can even have dual colour, that is different colour inside and out, if you wish!
