If you have existing sliding sash windows, we can fit a vertically balance sliding aluminium secondary glazing window, which fits neatly on the inside. It also offers tilt back for cleaning.
For existing casement windows, we will often recommend our horizontal sliding aluminium windows.
If your windows are very large you can also consider our heavy-duty options.

,Choosing new secondary glazing windows can be a tricky task so we have put together some popular FAQ, which you may find helpful
Secondary glazing adds an extra slimline window which sits inside your existing windows.
If you have existing sliding sash windows, you can add vertically balanced aluminium secondary glazing which will fit neatly behind your existing sliding sash windows. The transom (middle horizontal bar) will be in the same place and they can be tilted back for cleaning.
If you have existing casement windows, you can either have horizontal sliding secondary windows or windows that hinge in to the room. We will advise what works best once we have seen your existing windows.
One of the main benefits of aluminium secondary glazing is the improvement in acoustic impedance. We would normally recommend stadip 6.8mm laminate acoustic glass for maximum benefit.
Our aluminium secondary glazing will improve both heat loss and sound insulation. Depending on what is your most pressing problem we can tailor our product to suit your individual needs.
We recommend going out or being away while we are installing your new windows so that we can keep disruption to a minimum. However, with aluminium secondary glazing the disruption will be relatively low as we are not removing existing windows.
As our aluminium secondary glazing windows are powder coated you can have them in any RAL colour.
In a listed building you are frequently not allowed to change the existing primary windows but are usually allowed to add secondary glazing. Nevertheless, you will need to confirm this with the planners.
