Choose between traditional flush sash windows or the more modern storm-proof styles. They are microporous spray painted in the factory and so are fully finished after installation. They should not require painting again for 7 to 10 years, depending which way they face.
They come with shootbolts and key locking handles as standard with either friction hinges or working butt hinges. They are all made bespoke to order with a design preference for equal sight lines as it simply looks better.

Yes we can. Our preference is for equal sight lines, which you may already have in your original windows.
We replace the frames, the opening sashes and the cills as part of the installation process. We will also replace architraving next to the windows.
We now specialise in installing windows without the need for scaffolding in blocks of flats. We have a safe methodology to do this, which has been approved by our safety consultant.
Our timber replacement windows come with shootbolt locking and key locking handles and many other security features as standard, so are very secure.
We can reproduce your georgian bars using astragal bars which consist of duplex bars in between the glass and plant on bars on the inside of the inside pane and the outside of the outside pane. They create the illusion of separate panes, but in reality, they are not!
Firstly, we will be installing new double glazed casement windows that are no longer drafty, which is going to make a huge improvement. Secondly, you can consider installing 6.4mm or 6.8mm stadip laminate acoustic glass on one of the two panes of glass, the other being 4mm. This will improve the acoustic impedance by a further 10% to 15%.
We recommend going out or being away while we are installing your new timber windows so that we can keep disruption to a minimum. We will make good any damage to plaster work up to decorating standard.
As you will be replacing the old windows with the same material (timber) and providing we stick to the same design, you should not require planning permission, although it is always best to check with the planners first.
All things being equal they will have less condensation than the original windows, as they are double glazed, but condensation is caused by the relationship between temperature and relative humidity, so it is still possible to get some condensation depending on what happens inside your property. There are actions you can take to minimise condensation, which we can advise upon.
That will depend on if they are north or south facing. For north-facing typically they will last for up to 10 years without repainting and for south-facing it is more likely to be about 7 years.
All our timber windows come factory finished top coated with microporous spray paint. There is no need for you to touch them up.
We will replace the existing architraving and internal nose boarding in new white hardwood to match the windows as a standard part of our fitting service.
