Secondary Glazing Sash Windows
If you live in a conservation area or listed building, you may not be allowed to replace your primary glazed windows in the way you would like to. Nevertheless, if you want to improve your windows for heat and noise reduction, installers You Choose offer a wide range of bespoke secondary double-glazing sash windows to meet your needs.
Secondary glazing involves adding an extra slimline window in addition to your existing window. It is a cost-effective and efficient method of insulating and sound-proofing your windows.
For secondary glazing windows, why not consider our vertically-balanced sliders with tilt back for easy cleaning? Various glass options are available, but we would recommend either a 6.4mm laminate or a 6.8mm Stadip acoustic glass option to aid noise reduction.
For casement windows, we would usually recommend horizontal sliding secondary windows, or we can fit openings in window systems where appropriate.
If you want to reduce noise, why not consider our heavy duty secondary glazing which has double glazed units? We can also offer heavy duty secondary windows which are double glazed. Our secondary windows come in white as standard, or can be made in any RAL colour as required by the customer.
